Isn't that beside the point? If you have all this money and they only suspect you have it, give you some court order for the money, then even if they can't get hands on the money neither can you. All they have to do is watch you, as a person, and your interaction with systems. That sort of thing is only getting more easy.

Furthermore with the push for "Online identity" they could just seize all your data storage and your various account information sets. Maybe your Ident never touched any of your personal hardware, or maybe you opened access to your hardware and pumped so many Idents through your confident they wont be able to figure out which is yours. But they can still out wait you.

I mean MAYBE with smart contracts will get us out of that.

This seems like its just moving the costs of bandwidth to your users, probably without them knowing. Sooo yea, I guess you can save money by making others spend theirs instead.

Totally off topic, but i want more of his cantor dust!!!

See, I feel the more interesting thing about AI safety is not the fear/possibility of a malicious AI, but the ethics of teaching AI things that we have yet to figure out ourselves.

A good example of this is the autonomous car, which is forced into the choice between protecting the human in the car, or the pedestrians on the street. This is an ethical/moral question that most humans cant really come to a consensus about, but we are expecting to be rely on a centralized set of programmers who either through code will force a choice, or (through code again) come up with the process that makes the choice.

Oh and even if a consensus existed about the dangers/nondanagers of AI, you would still have to examine your "Experts opinion bias" to see if they are the only argument you have that is supporting your belief.

PS we need more of the Older semi AI training games, things like RoboCode(with neural Nets), NERO, ect. Iv seen a few pop up over the years but they always fizzle out. Huge opportunity for Tactical AI training as a game.

While multi tasking is one of the great myths of our current age, the idea of focus is quite quickly catching up. Both, when pushed to the extreme, are different sides of the same coin.

For a long time computers the public where using also did not multi task, but you could still browse a website and chat with your friends and not notice the switching.

I love how easy attribution is now a days! They use multiple Virtual Machines and and English and Russian fonts, must be Russian.

I also love how both sides instantly blamed the other.

Obviously trump hacked the DNC and then released its oppo research (on him) to hurt Hillary. Either they removed all the bad stuff, or wanted to release it all at once and force the attribution to Hillary.

or

Obviously Hillary Hacked the DNC and released the oppo research on trump to cause an easy document dump and get media attention on all her weak oppo research

No Expert's Opinion or Confirmation Bias going on today.

Edit: It is totally possible some extra "secret" attribution is going on by bigger entities.

Anyone have suggestions on how to block sites like this from downloading without permissions?

edit: So blocking XHR requests seems to do the trick.

I signed up just to tell you that a slam dunk is not an easy shot. Its when the player jumps up and places "slams" the ball in the net rather then taking the shot from a distance. Its A) hard to get that close unobstructed and B) for most people hard to actually jump that high. Its almost a boastful move of skill to slam dunk the ball.

I'm actually no a sports person....
