Do you mean extra spaces at the end of line? If yes then select the lines, go to:

Edit - Blank Operation - Trim Trailing Space

> Early on it was among the best of Chrome-cousins and I’d just leave it as the default browser on new Windows installs

Yes! I remember installing the leaked version before the official launch and being really impressed on how fast it was. The UI was also a welcome change. But over time they've added so many unwanted features. It just feels so bloated and slower than chrome now.

uBlock Origin is a recommended extension and according this page[1], Recommended extensions undergo full code review by staff security experts to provide a strong additional security check.

From rest.li's github page[0] -

At LinkedIn, we are focusing our efforts on advanced automation to enable a seamless, LinkedIn-wide migration from Rest.li to gRPC. gRPC will offer better performance, support for more programming languages, streaming, and a robust open source community. There is no active development at LinkedIn on new features for Rest.li. The repository will also be deprecated soon once we have migrated services to use gRPC. Refer to this blog[1] for more details on why we are moving to gRPC.

This seems region specific. I tried searching for "chrome" on bing, in incognito with uBlock Origin turned off and all I got was a banner at the top of the search results asking me to try edge, all links below that were pages related to chrome. I'm in India.

All the recent re-designs looks like they started with ignoring anything below 15" (looking at you AWS)

I had the exact same thought. Hopefully a compact mode is being considered.

I use the Hacker News Dark[0] userscript with Tapermonkey
