I enjoyed this book. I bought a paperback copy of this book earlier this year after reading about it on an article about books that Steve Jobs had read. The article is written by the same author: https://www.inc.com/geoffrey-james/12-books-steve-jobs-wante...
Now this is a cool article. It's funny and ironic that an article uses slang while talking about how old languages acquired other phrases from other languages, calques.
I do wish future articles take note how adding humor to an article shows a level of care and understanding about the subject/ideas.
Agreed. So many technical blogs try to strike the same to to sound edgy or cute. Here the author uses it masterfully to reinforce his points on language.
Notifications menu on the very top(need to scoll up a bit for the hidden toggle switch to appear).
Super easy and smooth way to toggle Nightshift: I have the multi-touch gesture to open the Notifications menu with two-finger swipe from the right edge. Then I scroll up and turn on/off Night Shift.
Yep, I've been asked by friends to endorse them. But they are in a different industry and I have no proof whether or not they know the skills. Ethically, I don't think this is right. But no one I know has looked at endorsements during the hiring/interviewing process.
