I use a combination of a TODO.md file shared on all my devices (two laptops, one phone, one VPS) with Syncthing, Google Calendar, and leaving emails/messages unread for external requests.

I've tried Notion, Trello, and Keep in the past: they felt over-engineered and too reliant on having an internet connection/browser window open, so in the end I always found myself going back to basics. Haven't had a single problem with my current setup so far.

Only differences from mine are that I use TODO.org instead of .md, and I send emails to myself for more urgent tasks

Webrings are still a thing: https://geekring.net/list.txt

For a Tensorflow/Keras alternative check out Spektral: https://graphneural.network

I went through the command trying to understand what you did and I realized I know nothing about using the CLI properly. So cool!

As an Italian, reading this is site is absolute bliss. There's just so much to discover. I really suggest non-Italian speakers to automatically translate it with Google and dive into it.

I can't believe how well google translates this. Is there something about Italian that lends itself to english translation or is translate getting this good with other languages too I wonder?

I don't understand why we get daily articles about Google ads on HN's front page. Install an adblocker, problem solved.

For us, yes. Not for the average user that we, being the experts here, have a certain responsibility for.

Besides adblocking is a bit of a cludge.

I've sent one request as a test, if it works I'll do it systematically for all data brokers listed here https://yourdigitalrights.org/data-brokers

Since the devs are around this thread: it would be nice to have an option to send requests in bulk.

Would you mind voting up this idea on our roadmap? https://wishlist.yourdigitalrights.org/

This has been my go-to software for making diagrams since I was an undergrad. Absolutely stunning. I recommend their stand-alone version for offline editing as well.

You could say that there are two main aspects to epilepsy research. One is on the medical side, surgery, drugs, etc., one is more about understanding the phenomenon by studying brain activity and how it behaves. The two are very strongly connected, of course, but the second can also be tackled by engineers, mathematicians, physicists or computer scientists.

You'd be surprised by how many different people work on this subject!

Grazie :D

I agree, it's really fascinating. The thing that interests me the most are that many natural phenomena can be modeled as a network of some sort. It's mind-blowing how everything is connected.
