tyvm! i was able to read once i clicked "raw"

I recently heard the perspective that a good leader is always thinking about how to bring value to their team, and reviewing how much value they contributed to their team the previous day, and trying to come up with new ways to bring value to their team, and so on. This is paraphrased from my notes that someone else paraphrased for me, but it really struck a cord for me.

That's 20ms on a good link, but on a bad one there's probably a multiplier.

Too bad all these savings are eclipsed by js cruft.

Perhaps you are underutilizing your capabilities. I have found this access to books and papers incredibly enriching.

Though my ratio of books skimmed or read partially to books read from beginning to end has skyrocketed, I've found that with many books just one page or even one sentence carries valuable knowledge.

I can't even begin to compare the knowledge I have access to today to what I had just a decade ago, and a decade ago compared to two decades ago is even wider of a difference.

consider making your site accessible to nonjs users, please. currently, the book lists are not visible.

Thank you for your suggestion! I didn't thought about that. But in the next step, I will definitely make changes to consider nonjs users!

I thought it was going to be a stimulant like adderall, which probably would give a bridge player a significant advantage.

All the demo sites are blank without js...

Don't forget the bonus: all your forum accounts can be linked to your google account, just in case you didn't use your gmail as the email address.

That's what really kills me here. This is lock-in at least as bad as the Equifax situation.

Self-destructing cookies is a solution

Not if Google has collected enough other identifying information about you to determine whether or not you're a robot.

But I'm kinda hoping that the reason I keep having to identify cars and store fronts is that my refusal of third-party cookies is causing them to have no idea who I am. But that might be the optimistic view.

In any case, I wouldn't mind if sites stopped using recaptcha.

// Temporary whitelist until we find a better solution const whitelistHosts = ['connect.facebook.net', 'connect.facebook.com', 'staticxx.facebook.com', 'www.facebook.com', 'scontent.xx.fbcdn.net', 'pbs.twimg.com', 'scontent-sjc2-1.xx.fbcdn.net', 'platform.twitter.com', 'syndication.twitter.com', 'cdn.syndication.twimg.com']

a better solution for what, i wonder

I guess it's new that it was discovered, nobody seems to have noticed while it's a major issue for a privacy tool.

Security vulnerabilities commonly are discovered after a product releases... sometimes many years later.
