So amazing. I remember we used to go to our school's computer lab in ~1999 when we used to draw on Kidpix. And I vividly remember the Firecracker feature with nice bomb sound. You have left me nostalgiac :)

Earlier I used to maintain the passwords in an Excel and the life in a way changed when I discovered Password Manager KeePassXC - which is amazing.

For my frequently accessed accounts, I also prefer Apple Keychain to login faster across the devices.

Same goes with downloading youtube videos - which gets deleted randomly by the owner. I used to have YouTube playlists and after 3 years 4 out of 10 videos were gone.

Downloading content helps if you want to revisit them without the fear of them getting deleted.

How does mind stop switches hopping between ideas - each one of them have their potential but chasing them simultaneously reaches you nowhere? Any insights/ thoughts would be appreciated.

I have taken over 10K notes in last 9 years and this is what I do -- I take a lot of hand-written notes and then I type down everything -- I believe it reinforces everything for me as I do the latter after a few days.

And thank you all for sharing such insightful comments.

Writing things down lets other parts of your brain know what’s going on. I reach for my notebook a dozen times a day. Often just writing my question down makes the answer obvious.

One of the most valuable things which I learnt was how to tie shoe laces using Ian Knot - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgSwvDkJVxE

Saved me incredible amount of mental harrassment which I used to get when shoe laces used to get unwound which I used to brisk walk.

Life is good after learning it.

I wonder why no one learns to tie it this way? It is less common because it's not as intuitive?

Same. Totally worth learning.

Very useful. When I was living solo in Ahmedabad, I used to cook a lot of Khicdi (It is combination of Rice + pulses cooked) which is nutritious, light and very cheap to cook. I must have saved 80% of the money had I been ordering the food from outside.

Wow! I will join the IRC channel right away. I always wanted to learn and explore Rust.
