The whole idea is that these are potentially breakthrough discoveries that, if true, will change our understanding of physics. I'd say "quantum eraser" is way crazier than (potential) LENR.

Quantum erasers are a lot less impressive than they sound. They don't really "erase" anything. You can make a quantum eraser out of a few sheets of polarizing film. See:
