I currently have an Apple AirPort Time Capsule (latest 2 TB version with AC support), but I've been looking at Google Wifi. Honest question, why spend all the extra cash for Unifi gear? Google Wifi is mesh, and should all just work.
3) Separability of routing, switching, and wireless.
4) Simple L2TP VPN endpoint support.
I'm very happy with my choice, and I just installed AP's only at my folks' place over Thanksgiving. Simple remote management may be Overkill, but I'm willing to wager that the lifecycle in this gear will be much better than the once-every-18-months dance that they've been doing with extenders, routers, etc.
