The age comment manages to be both a non sequitor and an ad hominem so lets ignore that.

The issue at play here is far larger than a car having a crash. The issue I was referring to is the actions of Tesla as they respond to the crash. That is cultural and it affects both the process of creating and releasing products as well as the process of responding to their failure. If your product can kill people, and lets be clear - cars can easily kill people SDV or not - you need to act like professionals when something happens. Playing the blame game, in public, and violating the expectations of a body like the NTSB shouldn't garner trust, no matter who is right at a technical level.
