We can use spent fuel to make more. It's just too expensive now because we still have a lot of natural sources, so this will fix itself by supply & demand process.
And fuel costs are really tiny fraction of nuclear energy cost so this won't even affect nuclear costs much.
And nuclear fuel does not exactly grow on trees...
