Yeah the shield can also receive from your gaming PC provided it has an nvidia card. It's a really nice device in general.

Steam Link can also be installed on the Shield and as long as your PC has steam running, you can use its Big Picture mode to stream games.

So can any device with Moonlight, I haven’t seen performance differences as far as local streaming goes between my Shield (2018 model) and my A1E (which has a fairly shitty SoC).
