Re: The title. The article gives the location of the airport several times, and it’s not Kabul. I believe the BBC article I read earlier said this airport is a couple hundred miles from Kabul.

This was totally predictable. The interesting question is really whether America even has the mental bandwidth to care for its own citizens in a hostage crisis.

I am really surprised at the willingness of the Taliban to encourage America to come back when it wants nothing but out.

They know America won't come back. They're just trying to see how much more they can get out of the win.
