Dürer was unknown to me until I took a community-based art class. What a genius. His innovations in perspective inspire me considering 1493 is both so long ago and so recent at the same time.

I created an account just to say this is great! Made me go down memory lane, college art history class. I even made a Flemish art website because of it years ago (Dürer was very influential in Flemish art, even though he was German). I own exactly one art book, one with Dürer's collected works. His rhino aways cracks me up. Apparently he never saw one in real life, but drew one anyway.
