Though they aren't far (package-list-packages, find them). Also you need to know that these options are even there (customize-apropos is good, but it's not hard to get stuck finding the right keyword to get to the option or option group you want).

Sure, I get it as a curated list of things to add, but it kind of has a hierarchy that resembles the one in customize.
