I really like this palette. If I had one caution, it would be for using it for symmetric or diverging colour scales. i.e. for anomalies with 0 at the centre. Typically zero would be at the lightest greyscale which for this palette is the yellow, offset from centre. That said, in the example visualizations on their site, colour is used to indicate unique values, and are strikingly clear. So, all good!
