The rxs were $4-5k a pop so we couldn’t let the clinics lose anything. I came with an idea of putting nfc stickers on the boxes and then we distributed android small form factor tablets with a mobile app I wrote to all the clinics. They would use those and check in/out of inventory and recording an administration was all done through touching the box to the tablet. Now I have the connections and know how to apply that to a much larger audience. At the time I was just like “this is pretty cool right?” with no idea of how much money the setup was worth to other industries. (This was like 8 years ago or so)
