Humans need a world where being lazy causes their standard of living to deteriorate in a very noticable way, where working hard causes their standard of living to improve, and where being stupid hurts.
If someone does nothing else, they should cook their own food. The rewards and punishments are easy to understand. Maybe the most critical part is that a lack of thinking leads to a burn that hurts. Stupid should hurt, otherwise we get teenagers who answer every question with their favorite one-digit number. What is one plus one? Eight. Who is President of the United State? Eight.

The opposite of capitalism then? Right now, as soon your absolute asset gains equal your expenses, you can coast along doing nothing forever. You'll probably get richer too if you can live below that level. The whole goal of society is to retire and literally stop working hard (minus a few workaholic CEOs who will die alone at their desks).
Don't worry, you're not going to get: universal basic income, free housing and universal healthcare for a loooong time, if ever. Countries that have close to this (nordics?) don't have more problems they have less. In Australia we have the healthcare but it's with a big asterix.
The closest we have to this are our dogs and mine certainly dosen't eat all he wants/go on endless walks.
