It's worth mentioning that Uriel was one of the major contributors to http://suckless.org/ software. Things like wmii, dwm, dmenu, and other minimalist bits of software for Linux were partly his doing. He will be missed.

Er, no. Happens to run on Linux, as well as other Unix-likes. Ordinarily this would be a nitpick, but not in the context of Uriel.


I didn't know Uriel or know anything about him, but I used wmii as my main window manager for quite a while around 7 years ago. It was my introduction to tiled window managers, and I haven't looked back since.
