It's already spread. Where I work (in the US), we manufacture industrial machinery that is heavily tech-dependent. The increased memory prices are biting us hard. On top of the increased costs from tariffs that we've been forced to eat, this is looking to be a hard second punch on top of the first.

Layoffs are coming soon, and there's a serious question about whether the company can survive unless it leaves the US.
