I'm fascinated by how schools methodically kill any sense of creativity.
The OLPC team once conducted an experiment where they left a few tablets to kids who didn't know how to read nor how to use a computer.
Yet, in 5 month, they learned how to hack Android and enable stuff that had been previously disabled by the OLPC team (I believe for security reasons, some sort of parental control).
What this example illustrates is how schools create clone workers rather than hackers. And I strongly believe our society needs more hackers, as they apparently are the only ones to be able to foster our world's development.
